Goggles on, for everyone in the room, from set-up to take-down
- Chemicals, including household chemicals, or glassware: indirectly vented D3 splash goggles, vents hooded.
- Heat sources, projectiles, springs or anything under stress, dust or fumes, biological specimens, sharp tools.
- Solids, collisions and flying particles only: safety glasses with side shields are enough.
- A face shield goes over goggles or glasses, never alone. Contact lenses are not eye protection.
- Goggles must fit snugly all round the eyes. Cleaned between classes; cracked or clouded ones out of service.
No certified eye protection for the activity and its materials? Then the activity does not happen.
