Contact lenses are not eye protection: wear protection over them. Prescription glasses need Z87.1 prescription eyewear, or goggles that fit over them. Laser work needs eyewear rated for that laser.
Each row of the poster carries a drawing of the eyewear: side shields on the glasses, the open holes of directly vented goggles, the hooded vents and D3 marking of splash goggles, goggles under the face shield, and the marked filter lenses of welding goggles.
