Every time
- Check the safety data sheet for the glove it names. Then the maker's chart for how long that material holds. Inspect every pair, even new, for tears, pinholes and swelling; never expired gloves.
- Pinch the cuff of one glove and peel it off. Hold it balled in the gloved hand.
- Slide a bare finger under the other cuff and peel it over the first. One bundle, outside in. Bin it, wash your hands.
Disposable gloves: never reused, never worn out of the lab, never on a keyboard or phone.
